About Me

I am the Technical Director at Illinois Legal Aid Online (ILAO).  I have worked in civil legal aid as a technologist and web developer since 1998, first at the Sargent Shriver National Center for Poverty Law and I have been at ILAO since August 2004.  At ILAO, I get to work with a very talented team, both on our staff and the contract developers that work with me to bring our many projects to life as well as with our external partners who represent the users of our products. An overview of those projects can be found under Projects.

I served on the Board of Directors of the Legal Services National Technology Assistance Project while it was a nonprofit coorporation (it has since become a project of Northwest Justice Project).  I have a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and supporting concentration in Computer Science from Angelo State University and a J.D. from DePaul University's College of Law.
